Digitals

Alpha Bank presents the works of twelve young Greek artists who experiment solely with new media, in particular, digital printmaking. It aims at highlighting the reciprocal relationship between technology and art, as all twelve works are the result of a combination of visual and digital media.
The exhibition, “Digitals”, was held for the first time from January to June 2012 at the Exhibition Area of the main Alpha bank building.” and was organised on the occasion of the acquisition by the Art Collection of the twelve works which form part of the “The A-Projects” group. On the occasion of the organization of the Athens Printfest, the artists were invited once again to make some painting interventions on their works in order to modify the rationale of the exhibition presented at the Hellenic American Union and enrich its content.

The artists participating are: Georgia Damopoulou, Charalambos Dermatis, Katerina Diakomi, Lenia Economou, Elli Griva, Natalia Kerkyra, Eva Marathaki, Konstantinos Papamichalopoulos, Miltiadis Petalas,  Amalia Stavroulaki, Giorgos Tserionis, Panteles Xerohemonas.
Curators: Dr. Despoina Tsourgianni and Georgia Mazi, (Alpha Bank Art Collection Section).
