Poetic encounters: “Words (can) do it”
In this event two poets of different generations, Mary Yossi and Anna Griva, will read their own poems, old and new, published and unpublished, but also some of their favorite works by other poets. An open discussion with the audience will follow the reading.
Mary Yossi’s first poetic collection Pasiphae, was published in 1981. The poems she wrote until 2002 have been published in three collections: Special circuit (1990), The wedding (1993), and Low sky and other poems (2006). Anna Griva has published two poetry books so far: The voice of the killed man (2010) and Our days of being wild (2012).
