In the third season of the monthly poetic encounters “Words (can) do it”, Pandelis Boukalas, poet and translator of ancient Greek literature, will introduce us to epigrams, poems and excerpts of tragedies that he has translated and will read the original poems. Translations of the poems will be read by Panayotis Ioannidis.
As a translator of ancient Greek poetry and ancient drama, Pandelis Boukalas has published translations of sepulchral and sympotic epigrams as well as works by Pindar and Euripides.
