What level does this course aim at?
This course aims at the B1 level in English as outlined by the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
How long does this course last?
This course lasts one academic year. Lessons start in mid September and finish in the middle of May. Lessons last two hours and take place three times a week.
What are the components of each course?
The course content includes reading, writing, audiovisual and speaking components as well as activities in the computer lab and practice on BCCE type activities. The Course Description handout given to students by their teacher includes a detailed description of the course components.
Why should my child take the BCCE?
This will give your child the chance to go through the experience of taking a high stakes examination at a lower level in an unfamiliar environment, before taking any other officially recognized tests at more advanced levels such as the ECCE.
