On 18 and 19 December 2008, students, parents, and teachers from all Young Learners' and Adolescents’ classes of the English Language Program participated in two respective events that combined the Seasons’ festive spirit with some progress reporting on the side.
During the first day, after listening to Christmas Carols performed by students of the Young Learners 2 class, students met with Santa Claus himself! During the second day, everyone listened to students of the Advanced class reciting an ecological poem in English that they had written themselves; then, they participated in an award ceremony for the winners of an essay contest organized among students of the E and ECCE Prep classes.
During both days, while students were watching a film at the Hellenic American Union Theater, parents had time to discuss with teachers their children’s progress and to receive their score reports. Lots of sweets, coffee, and refreshments were available for everyone. Since the Season called for offering of presents, in the end, each student was given a Christmas present.
Sweets were a generous offer of NESTLE Hellas S.A.
