Practical Information about the ALCE™
Who is responsible for the administration of the ALCE™ in Greece?
The Hellenic American Union has exclusive responsibility for the administration of the ALCE™ in Greece.
When is the ALCE™ examination administered?
The examination is administered four times a year, in January , March, June, and October. The written section of the examination is administered on a Saturday and the speaking section is administered on the same or on the previous or following day.
Where is the ALCE™ examination held?
Testing centers exist in nearly all of the Greek prefectures. Contact your Language School for information on the testing center nearest you.
When do examinees receive the scores of the examinations?
Examinees receive their scores approximately two months after the examination period during which they have taken the examination.
How are the results announced?
All ALCE™ candidates receive a personal letter where they can see their total and per section score. Language schools also receive a report of the scores of their candidates.
Language schools and teachers can see the results through our secure website ORFEAS and individual candidates can use our HAU site for that reason.
