Practical Information about the ECCE & ECPE
Who is responsible for the administration of the ECCE and ECPE in Germany?
The Hellenic American Union administers the ECCE and ECPE examination in Germany.
When are the ECCE and ECPE administered in Germany?
The ECCE and ECPE are administered in Germany twice a year; the ECCE is administered in May and December and the ECPE is administered in May and November. Written sections are administered on weekends (Saturday-Sunday). Speaking sections are administered on the same or a different date, before or after the written section administrations.
Where are the ECCE and ECPE held in Germany?
Testing centers exist in Munich and Dusseldorf. Contact your Language School for information on the testing center nearest you.
When do candidates receive the scores of the ECCE and ECPE?
Examination results are sent to the Hellenic American Union by the University of Michigan. Candidates who take the examinations in May receive their scores usually by the beginning of August. Candidates who take the examinations in November or December receive their scores usually by the beginning of February.
How are the results announced?
Language Schools and teachers of English can view their students’ results through the Hellenic American Union secure platform ORFEAS. As of the May 2012 ECPE and ECCE administration, all Language Schools are able to access and download their students’ official University of Michigan score reports through Orfeas. Individual candidates will receive their score reports by email and can also view their results through the Hellenic American Union website.
