Visit to the Museum of Greek Folk Art

Jul 28, 2010

On July 28, 2010, students from our Intermediate 1-level course visited the Museum of Greek Folk Art, which was founded in 1918 by the poet Georgios Drosinis and is located at 17 Kydathinaion Street, in Plaka.

Folk Art Museum

Our students had the opportunity to admire the museum’s rich collections, which display prominent artifacts that shaped the cultural identity of modern Greeks from the 17th to the beginning of the 20th century.
This visit broadened the knowledge of our students about Greek history and civilization and, as a result, classes ended in a most pleasant and constructive way.
