Benaki Museum (Kolonaki Sq. building)
Students and teachers visited the permanent collections of Benaki Museum.
On Thursday, 28 June 2007, near the end of the intensive June period, students and teachers from Advanced I and all Intermediate classes, visited the permanent collections of Benaki Museum, hosted at a lovely neoclassical mansion, in the heart of Athens. They admired important works of Art from all periods of Greek civilization as well as examples of Islamic Art. What impressed them most were the collections of genuine traditional costumes from all parts of Greece.
After their visit, they all enjoyed cool refreshments at the Museum’s Roof Garden and shared their impressions in Greek!
