Visit to the National Historical Museum

Jul 31, 2007

Our students visited the National Historical Museum, in the center of Athens.

National Historical Museum

On Friday, 31 July 2007, before everyone said "Adio" for the summer vacations, students from Intermediate 2 and Intermediate 3, visited the National Historical Museum, operating since 1962 in the magnificent Old Parliament Building, in the center of Athens. Through portraits, memorabilia, paintings, engravings, and other historical relics, they learned about the most important moments of contemporary Greek history. They were all particularly impressed with the Assembly Hall of the first Parliament of Greece. Before arranging to meet again in September, students and teachers exchanged views and commented on what they had seen … in Greek of course!
