Chryssanthou Helen, Faculty
Helen holds a B.A. Honors degree in Classics from University of Wales, Swansea, U.K. and is currently working towards an M.A. in Ancient Greek Language from the University of Peloponnese, Kalamata. Her Master thesis entitled “Women in Epic Poetry: Penelope, Helen, Andromache, and Dido”, is at the final stages of completion.
During her studies Helen received scholarships and awards by the City and County of Swansea and the University of Wales. She has been teaching in the private sector since 2000, and has also worked as an instructor of English to Greek students. She has served as a Director of Studies and has taught in several private language schools in Greece. Helen has attended various seminars and conferences. In 2016 she started working at the Hellenic American Union as an instructor.
