The instructor

Dr Derek J. Oliver is an Information Audit & Security specialist with over 25 years experience. Qualified with CISA, CISM and CFE, he is a Chartered Fellow of the British Computer Society, a Fellow of the Institute of IT Service Management and a Fellow of the Institute of Analysts & Programrs. An MSc in information technology was followed by a PhD in Information Security Management and a DBA in Risk & Security Management. He is internationally regarded as an expert in Information Security and ISO27001 and has spoken at international conferences and seminars from Oslo to Cape Town by way of Orlando and Canberra on various information security and audit topics.

Having been a member of the ISACA Credentialing Task Force that created the CISM designation, he was appointed the founding Chair of the CISM Examination Enhancement Committee in 2004 and currently chairs the Working Party developing an international Business Model for Information Security (BMIS); in addition to this and his appointment as co-chair of the CobiT5 Task Force he is a member of ISACA’s Future Framework Committee. There are four processes a candidate must successfully complete to become a certified CISSP®: 1)Εxamination, 2) Certification, 3) Endorsement and 4) Audit. Prince2^TM- APM Group Qualifications

There are no prerequisites for taking the Prince2^TM. Candidates must sit the Foundation Examination and then the Practitioner Examination, in that order. The exams can be taken with your chosen training organisation as part of a training course, or directly through the APM Group who have open centres where candidates can take the exams without needing to do the training course. Training and examinations for PRINCE2 are available from Accredited Training Organisations coordinated through the APM Group. In Greece, there is no Open Center of Prince2 Examinations. Hellenic American Union Center of Excellence in Project Management offers prep courses with examinations in association with Business Management Consuntalts an Accredited Training Organization of APM Group. Training anytime, anywhere

Are you a busy professional with heavy family commitments? Do you live or work outside Athens? Do you wish to improve your knowledge or acquire new skills at your own pace without attending a traditional class? Our on-line courses are the right solution for you.

The on-line courses have no standard start or end dates. You can register anytime within the year and study at your own pace. Once you register you must complete the course within a certain period of time, which is specified in the brochure for each course. Throughout your studies you will have guidance and support by the same instructors who teach similar courses in a traditional class setting.

The e-learning environment

We use the Blackboard e-learning platform which provides 24/7 access and has built-in communication tools, like chat rooms and discussion forums, to simulate the interaction of a traditional classroom.

Training methodology

Each course consists of a number of modules (sessions). Each module has study material, which, according to the course, may include reading material, multimedia tools, videos, and presentations. In each module there is also some kind of assessment, in the form of either a review test or a short assignment. You need to complete a module before moving on to the subsequent one. The amount of time required to finish a module varies according to the course.

There are three different ways to register for an exam.

Fill in the on-line Application Form
Register through the VUE website.
- If you already have a VUE Web Account proceed to Sign In and then select the Exam Program you wish to test with.
- If you do not have a VUE Web Account go to create a Web Account now in order to create one. Then you will be able to proceed to the Sign in process

Exam Admission

During your admission for the exams Cisco requires an electronic signature and photo of the candidate. If you refuse to comply with these regulations you will not be allowed to sit for the exam. There is no reimbursement for the exam.
