In his lecture “Music for Cinema”, Mitsakis analyzes the role and “necessity” of music in cinema through its historical evolution and aesthetics.

A concert follows with works by: Bernard Herrmann, Ennio Morricone, David Raksin, Nino Rota, John Williams. Participating musicians: Akis Nikolouzos (clarinet), Guido De Flavis (alto saxophone), Michalis Vorias (violin), Vicky Stylianou (piano). In cooperation with the Greek Composer’s Union and the Hellenic American University.
