Who is responsible for the administration of the BCCE™ and ALCE™ examinations in Cyprus?
The Hellenic American Union has exclusive responsibility for the administration of the BCCE™ and ALCE™ examinations in Cyprus.
When are the BCCE™ and ALCE™ examinations administered in Cyprus?
The BCCE™ and ALCE™ are administered in Cyprus twice a year; the BCCE™ is administered in May and December and the ALCE™ is administered in May and November.
Written sections are administered on weekends (Saturday-Sunday). Speaking sections are administered on the same or a different date, before or after the written section.
Where are the BCCE™ and ALCE™ examinations held in Cyprus?
A testing center exists in Nicosia. Contact your Language School for information on the testing center nearest you.
When do candidates receive the scores of the BCCE™ and ALCE™?
Examination results are sent to the Hellenic American Union by Hellenic American University. Candidates receive their scores approximately two months after the examination period during which they have taken the examination.
How are the results announced?
Language Schools and teachers of English can view their students’ results through the Hellenic American Union secure platform ORFEAS. All Language Schools are able to access and download their students’ official University of Michigan score reports through Orfeas. Individual candidates will receive their score reports by email and can also view their results through the Hellenic American Union website.
