Certificates
What degrees can our students take?
The Hellenic American Union offers children, adolescents, and adults the opportunity to enjoy an innovative program of English as a Foreign Language that leads to the attainment of recognized English language certificates:
BCCE
Upon completion of the “Adolescents D Class” course or “B1” for adults, students may sit for the Certificate of Basic Communication in English (BCCE) Examinations of the Hellenic American University. This way, they have the opportunity to go through the experience of taking a high stakes examination at a lower level in an unfamiliar environment before they attempt to take any other officially recognized tests at more advanced levels such as the ECCE.
The BCCE is mapped to the B1 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is officially recognized by the Greek State (ΑΣΕΠ).
