English Courses Online

The Hellenic American Union offers online English language courses from levels A1 to C1. Students need no special knowledge of computers; with a fast Internet connection and a webcam, they make use of an engaging interactive platform to take lessons with experienced teachers. The digital platform has been developed by Cambridge University Press and uses the Touchstone educational series. The platform has been designed for use with both teenagers and adults. In each of the four language levels students develop all language skills, with an emphasis on using English for communicative purposes. The Hellenic American Union has supplemented the content of the platform using a variety of interactive tools, such as blogs, wikis, chats, and video conferencing in order to bring about more direct, active teacher-student and student-student participation.

Beginners Online
Through the online platform, the student is exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes and engage in language production through structured dialogues, conversations, and paragraph writing.
High Beginners Online
Through the online platform, you are exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes and engage in language production through semi-structured conversations, presentations, and paragraph writing.
Low Intermediate Online
Through the online platform, you are exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes and engage in language production through discussions, presentations, letter and essay writing.
Intermediate Online
Through the online platform, you are exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes and engage in language production through discussions, presentations, letter and essay writing.
Upper-Intermediate Online
Through the online platform, you are exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes. You engage in language production through regular interaction with a degree of fluency and spontaneity and through writing detailed texts on a wide range of subjects.
Advanced Online
Through the online platform, you are exposed to reading and listening material, adapted for educational purposes and you can use language flexibly and effectively for social, academic and professional purposes.
