MET Go! Format and Content
MET Go! tests listening, reading with grammar and vocabulary, writing, and speaking. The test is divided into three mandatory separate sections (listening, reading, and writing) and one optional section (speaking). The following table presents the format and content of MET Go!:

Part 2: Four short texts with multiple-choice questions per text. The first two texts are brochures, emails, advertisements, announcements, or other similar materials. The second two texts are short narrative stories. | |||

Part 2: Test taker is asked to describe an experience. | |||

Part 4: The examiner asks the test taker questions about their experiences and preferences. |
- The first three parts (Listening, Reading, and Writing) comprise the written section of the examination and they are all administered on the same day. The third part, the Speaking Test (optional), is administered before, after, or even at the same day of the written examinations.
- Listening recordings and reading passages reflect everyday interactions in a North American English-speaking environment.
