50 remarkable women over 50 through the lens of Vania Tloupa
50 inspiring women over the age of 50 reveal themselves through the lens of renowned photographer Vania Tloupa.
The exhibition brings to the forefront captivating women, their emotions, and their truth, boldly challenging outdated social stereotypes around age and maturity. 50 women over 50 magnetize the camera, composing a visual hymn to womanhood, elegance, femininity, and the sense of completeness—uncompromising and liberated from filters and unnecessary embellishments. As the photographer notes: I decided to create a project—a tribute to the modern woman—that stands as undeniable proof that entering maturity marks the beginning of an exciting journey, one filled with its own unique charm. At the exhibition opening, Leonidas Phoebus Koskos remarked: Tloupa’s exhibition demonstrates that Greek women have responded to the concept of quotas long before it was ever invented.
An open conversation will accompany the exhibition, addressing the identity and role of women over 50. Through the insights of professionals, scholars, and the women themselves, the discussion will focus on key issues surrounding women today—age and gender discrimination, marginalization, and violations of human rights in the workplace.
