What is Business Analysis?
According to IIBA®: “Business Analysis is the practice of enabling change in an organizational context, by defining needs and recommending solutions that deliver value to stakeholders. The set of tasks and techniques that are used to perform business analysis are defined in A Guide to the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK®Guide)”.

IIBA® Certifications at-a-glance
IIBA provides a 4-level competency-based certification scheme for people performing business analysis:
|Level 1||ECBATM - Entry Certificate in Business Analysis||for entry level BAs (with no or up to 2 years of experience|
|Level 2||CCBA® - Certification of Capability in Business Analysis®||for BAs with 2 to 3 years of experience|
|Level 3||CBAP® - Certified Business Analysis Professional®||for BAs with 5+ years of experience who may also lead other BAs|
|Level 4||CBATLTM - Certified Business Analysis Thought Leader||for BA leaders with more than 10 years of experience|
