Main Conference Hall – Auditorium
Located on the second floor of the Massalias 22 building, the main conference hall has 200 seats equipped with folding writing tablet, 120 of which can be quickly removed and stored under the stage to create an open space of 100 m2. The stage, 36 m2, can be expanded to 80 m2, depending on the event. The main conference hall can be used in combination with the foyer - the two rooms are separated by soundproofing panels - thus increasing capacity to 250 persons.
8,03m x 3,20m projection screen, video, DVD, beta and data projector, 16mm and 35mm cameras, complete microphone and sound system (Stereo PA System, Dolby ProLogic Surround System), wireless simultaneous interpretation equipment (three languages, with the ability to expand to five), voting system, natural and artificial lighting (overall and special stage lighting), broadband internet connection, video conference synchronous communication equipment, air-conditioning.
Adjoining the main conference hall (the two rooms are separated by sound-absorbing panels), the foyer can be used to complement the main conference room or as an independent area. It is suitable for workshops and small-group seminars as well as for exhibitions. The foyer can also be modified to serve as a press room. Multiple phone lines and PCs with broadband Internet access can be installed on request.
Located on the 4th floor of the Massalias 22 building, the American Library at the Hellenic American College houses over 35,000 titles in English and Greek, an online collection of over 65,000 digital books, subscriptions to major academic periodicals databases numbering 10,000,000 articles and a Rare Books collection.
There are four seminar rooms that are equipped with audiovisual equipment and broadband Internet access.
J.F.Kennedy - N. Ghikas Gallery
Located on the ground floor of the building, the two galleries have a total usable space of 277 m2 and can accommodate 200 persons. The gallery space can be arranged according to the requirements of each event, whether it be an exhibition or a conference. Lighting and sound equipment can be adjusted to the specifications of each event.
The Atrium is adjacent to the J.F.Kennedy Gallery and can be used to complement the Gallery, or as a separate room to hold dinners and buffets.
Located on the 2nd floor of the building, with access through the Hellenic American Union main entrance on Massalias, as well as through a separate entrance on Didotou Street, the Union Cafe is a meeting point not only for our students but also for people working in downtown Athens. The Union Cafe is open daily and can accommodate up to 130 people for coffee or lunch breaks. The Union Cafe also offers catering services for events held within the building.
Located on the 8th floor of the building, the Roof Garden can accommodate up to 160 persons. Overlooking the Acropolis and the Saronic Gulf, the Roof Garden is the ideal setting for enjoying drinks, dinner and business lunches.
The building is used for foreign language instruction and has 8 classrooms with a total capacity of 150 people.
