A photography exhibition with works by the photo reporter Aristoteles Sarrikostas...
Aristoteles Sarrikostas’ photographs depict contemporary life in Greece and the people who played an important role in shaping cultural, social and political events. Having spent thirty-six years behind the lens of his camera, Aristoteles Sarrikostas captured a significant segment of the recent history of this country. From early on he was won over by the mystique of photography to which he devoted himself from 1961, when he began his career at “Enossi”, one of the largest photograph and news agencies in Greece at that time, and later as a correspondent of the Associated Press. Journalist Michalis N. Katsigeras curates the exhibition.
