The Hellenic Psychoanalytical Society, in cooperation with the Hellenic American Union, presents the distinguished psychiatrist, training analyst and President of the British Psychoanalytic Society, David Bell, in a scientific meeting entitled ″From Endopsychic to Interpersonal. The Psychoanalytic Contribution to General Psychiatry″. David Bell is also director of the Fitzjohn’s Unit, and specializes in serious and complex psychological disorders in the Tavistock Clinic. He is Honarary Senior Lecturer at University College in London. He teaches Freud and the history of psychoanalytic concepts at the British Psychoanalytic Society and at the Tavistock Clinic. He writes and lectures on a variety of subjects, including psychosis, personality disorder, suicide, trauma, and the relation between psychoanalysis and literature and culture. He is a leading psychiatric expert in asylum/human rights.
The meeting takes place on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 20:00. On Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 10:00, Mr. Dimitris Jackson, training analyst of the HPS, presents a psychoanalytic case on which David Bell comments.
