In cooperation with the Greek Society of Education Historians the Hellenic American Union presents a lecture entitled: Byzantium and Greek Identity by Professor Eleni Glykatzi-Ahrweiler. Dr. Glykatzi-Ahrweiler is an internationally renowned scholar and Byzantine expert, whose lectures in Greece and abroad attract both scientific and public interest, given that her talks not only discuss scholarly issues but also touch on significant political and social concerns.
Founded in 2001, the Greek Historians of Education Society (ELEIE) has a network of 156 members throughout Greece. Its members are predominantly faculty members from Greek Universities and researchers and teachers who write on the History of Education.
