The visual arts program of 2013 begins with photographic portraits by Dimitris Dimitriadis, Stelios Ramfos and Kostas Tsoklis....
The exhibition features photographs and interviews of playwright and translator Dimitris Dimitriadis, philosopher and author Stelios Ramfos and visual artist Kostas Tsoklis, who were hosted in the first three issues of the monograph Portrait Documentaries.
In the words of the publication itself, Portrait Documentaries was created to become “the documentation of a contact, the data of a new relationship between things and people around us”. Each issue juxtaposes interviews by Thanasis Lalas with portraits by Nikiforos to present a prominent personality of contemporary Greek culture.
This combination of text and image will allow visitors to the exhibition to witness the unique coexistence of three distinguished personalities of contemporary Greek spirit and also to acquaint themselves with the lives and work of these men.
