Poetic encounters: “Words (can) do it”
In this event, two poets of the newer generation, Maria Topali and Orfeas Apergis, will read their own poems, old and new, published and unpublished, but also some of their favorite works by other poets. An open discussion with the audience will follow the reading.
Maria Topali’s first poetic collection Tea set, was published in 1972. Since then, she has published four more poetic collections; her most recent poetry collection, entitled My words, was published in 2015. Orfeas Apergis’ first poetic collection, entitled Y was published in 2011.
