Lecture by Bruce Davidson about his Artwork
Lecture in English by the renowned photographer, where he presents his artwork through a slide presentation of his most famous photographs. Discussion with the public follows...
The lecture is organized in the context of the photographic exhibition of Bruce Davidson. Born in 1933, Bruce Davidson is one of the most significant American photographers and a senior member of Magnum Photos. Since the early 1950’s, Bruce Davidson has produced photographs on subjects of his own choice, devoting a substantial amount of time and great dedication to each of his bodies of work. All of his subjects are focused on human beings. The photographic result is evidence of the relation this photographer established with the people he portrays, thus showing that he himself becomes a part of the subject, far from being a mere dispassionate by-stander.
