Walking around the oldest area of Athens
On Thursday, 28 May 2009, students from Intermediate 1 and their instructor visited Plaka, one of the oldest and most picturesque areas of Athens.
As they were strolling down Plaka’s narrow streets, students visited the Ancient Roman Market and saw many beautiful neo-classical buildings. They took pictures of the most beautiful spots and traveled for a while back to the past, when Athens used to live moments of glory. At the end of the field trip, the students went to one of the most traditional cafés of the area, had a cup of Greek coffee and, of course, chatted only in Greek!
