The EcoFans meet the mayor
The members of EcoFans Juniors Club were received by the mayor of Athens Nikitas Kaklamanis in the municipality building at Kotzia square. Mr. Kaklamanis after greeting the EcoFans spoke to the young environmentalists for the efforts of the municipal authorities for the environment. Then, the EcoFans made their comments regarding the interventions, uncontrolled greenery, and unsightly urban paraphernalia at the area of the monuments. The EcoFans conveyed the mayor the well-founded perception they have about the environment. During their visit the EcoFans were given a tour in rooms of the municipality building which are not open to the public. It was one more step toward “changing our neighborhood before we change the world”.
