Words (can) do it: To Translate = To Love

23 translators share with us a poem that they love in the annual "Words (can) do it" event dedicated to translation

In the fifth meeting of the eleventh year of the series, its founder and curator Panagiotis Ioannidis gives carte blanche to 23 translators of American poetry - most of them poets themselves who have collaborated in the past with "Words (can) do it” - to translate a poem that they particularly love in Greek and share it with us for the first time.

Participating in the event are Marina Agathangelidou, Dimitris Allos, Vassilis Amanatidis, Orpheas Apergis, Antonia Gounaropoulou, Giannis Doukas, Lenia Zafeiropoulou, Lefteris Zacharioudakis, Katerina Iliopoulou, Eleni Iliopoulou, Panagiotis Ioannidis, Lena Kallergi, Dimitra Kotoula, Aspasia Lamprinidou, Memi Melissaratou, Margarita Melberg, Stergios Mitas, Gianna Boukova, Christiana Mygdali, Olga Papakosta, Akis Papantonis, Christos Siorikis and Maria Topali.
