Scavenger Hunt: A Polar Mission for Little Explorers 🐻❄️❄️

Geography, riddles, and fishing were all on the agenda for our second workshop of 2026 with our 4- and 5-year-old friends! And since February 27th is International Polar Bear Day, there was only one possible star of the day: the queen of ice.
But first… a few questions for our young explorers:
- Which animal lives in Alaska, Canada, Russia, Greenland, and Norway?
- How different are the footprints of a chicken and those of a polar bear?
- How good are you at fishing?
- And finally… which iceberg is the weakest of all?
First stop: The Quiz
Who could our guest of honour be?
With a little thinking, some clever clues, and just a tiny bit of help from moms and dads, the animal that loves spending hours lounging on an iceberg was finally revealed!
Second stop: The Library Mission
Quiet as little polar bears, crawling through a snowstorm on our tiptoes, we searched every shelf looking for the “key” that would unlock the next activity. But really… how well can a book hide when the cover features one of the biggest animals on Earth?
Third stop: Time to go fishing!
Despite a few “stormy waters”, and some unexpected stair cardio (apologies, mums and dads!); the result was clear: the freshest fish in the market for the sweetest handmade polar bear.
And after all that… it was time for the awards!
A small keepsake and a polar bear craft for every scavenger hunter, along with their invaluable helpers, of course.
