AI Fairness, Accountability, Transparency and Ethics
An ISACA Athens Chapter event
Mode of Delivery: Live & Hybrid (on Zoom)
The past few years have seen significant advancements and an ever-growing demand for Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications across various industries such as healthcare, retail, education and finance.
However, the surge of AI has also led to various novel challenges while ensuring non-discrimination and understandability in algorithmic decision-making. As a result, research fields such as AI Fairness, Accountability, Transparency and Ethics (F.A.T.E., FATML, XAI) have nowadays become essential pillars towards designing and building a Responsible AI.
This talk will present in depth the major dangers around data, model, and underlying social biases, and will discuss steps on how to best mitigate them. Furthermore, we will look into accountability frameworks, codes of ethics and principles, and explainability tools towards demystifying “black-box” models.
