Giannis Kantea-Papadopoulos

Athenian since 1994. He studied Political Science at Panteion University and spent nearly nine years writing about cinema for Athinorama. When he’s not alternating between watching Panathinaikos and Liverpool matches, he contributes to the sports zine Humba and teaches seminars on the seventh art in the afternoons (Cinemarian, Fårö). During the summer, you’ll find him curating the film programme of the Zagoriwood festival, while occasionally collaborating with institutions such as the Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Drama International Short Film Festival. He is a member of the Hellenic Film Academy and the Panhellenic Association of Film Critics.
