The Sound Banking Practices seminar aims to ensure that all staff are aware of the increasingly complex and evolving rules governing the banking and financial system and how these regulations impact the institution.

- Explain the link between corporate governance and risk management
- Give a high-level overview of prudential bank regulation
- Explain the changes to Basel capital definitions
- Outline the supervisory (Pillar 2) and market discipline (Pillar 3) elements of Basel III
- Clarify the methods used to estimate future credit losses
- Compare the short and medium term Basel III liquidity measures
- Identify the organization-wide processes required to comply with Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process
