Fantasy Festival returns online for the second year in a row
This popular fantasy festival returns online with a theme inspired by the bicentennial of the Greek War of Independence. Titled Revolution Now!, this year’s event explores the revolutionary dimension of fantasy creation and will be presented this October on the festival’s YouTube channel.
The FF2K21 program includes the announcement of the winners of the Magic Pen Writing Contest and the Magic Brush Illustration Contest, the Everly Awards - Greek Fantasy Awards, a lecture on “Revolution in Star Wars”, a panel discussion on “Revolution in Fantasy Works” as well as dance and a martial arts performance. Ever true to the theme of revolution, the festival commissioned artist Alkyoni Polyzoni Markouizou to design the poster for the event.
The festival is being held under the auspices of the “Greece 2021” Committee.
