Book reading and creative activities for children with author and illustrator Marina Gioti
In our time together with the author, young book lovers learn the story of a boy and Yeti, his fantasy friend. Yeti follows the Boy everywhere, but can only say one word… "yet"! Through their adventures together, the boy discovers that this is a magic word that, when used correctly, helps his mind grow in such a way that he can achieve everything, as long as he keeps trying! Τo further encourage the cultivation of positive thinking, the author suggests that we follow the example of the boy, keeping a daily diary of the things and qualities in our lives that please us.
During the event, our young friends play with the word "yet" and, using markers and colorful pieces of paper, imagine and paint their own Yeti.
The event is based on the successful books of author and illustrator Marina Gioti, "Yeti: The Power of Yet" and "Yeti+ Diary of Positive Thinking" published by Dioptra Publications.
The event will be held online through Zoom and is designed for children aged 4-9.
