A Meeting with Naomi Novik

Children's Event

Renowned award-winning American writer Naomi Novik talks, for the first time, with teenage and older book lovers from Greece!

On the occasion of the publication of her teenage book trilogy Scholomance, Naomi Novik talks with her Greek translator Voula Avgoustinou and answers questions posed by her younger and older readers.

Come meet Galadriel “El” Higgins who is attending the Scholomance. a school for teenage magicians, a “survival school” without teachers, without friends, a ring from which only a few manage to make it out alive. Will El be able to demonstrate and harness her powers, and eventually graduate from this terrible school keeping her soul intact? Through a work of fiction that is appealing even to adult readers, Novik is kneading her ingredients without age-specific concessions.

The event will take place online via Zoom and is designed for teens and young adults aged 12 or older.

Admission is free and open to all; registration is required.

The Greek translation of the Scholomance trilogy is available from Metaichmio Publications.
