Uncomfortable Realities

Screening

-
Hellenic American Union Theater

Screening series of Spanish-language films showcasing the diversity of cinematic productions in Latin America

The program includes Iberoamerican film productions from Peru and the Dominican Republic, which are less known to the general public, as well as works from Argentina and Colombia, whose film industries have shown remarkable dynamism and wide appeal since the late twentieth century.

The films confront difficult realities, highlighting how challenging it can be to fulfill one’s dreams—even when those dreams relate simply to everyday survival.

All films are screened with Greek subtitles.

Not recommended for children under the age of 7.
