A series of Spanish film screenings presenting the greatest painters of the Prado Museum
The Hellenic American Union, in collaboration with the Instituto Cervantes and the Europa Hispánica Study Center, presents this set of four documentaries focusing on major painters featured in Madrid’s Prado Museum.
The four documentaries, produced by CEEH (Centro de Estudios Europa Hispanica) in collaboration with other organizations such as the Prado Museum, The Auckland Project, and the El Greco Foundation, are a reference point not only for presenting the collections of major Spanish museums, but also for showcasing the work of Spanish conservators, researchers, and museologists working in these institutions.
All films have been included in the programs of museums, universities, and top international festivals, such as: Grand Palais (Paris), Musée du Louvre (Paris), National Gallery (Washington), Frick Collection (New York), Meadows Museum (Dallas), Museo de la Santa Cruz (Toledo), Museo del Prado (Madrid), Museo Thyssen (Madrid), Seminci (Valladolid), and many more.
With Greek subtitles.
