The Hellenic American Union presents the 2nd event of the series “Legendary Filmmakers – Iconic American Films,” dedicated to Alfred Hitchcock
British by origin, but with “American” films, as he achieved great success after permanently moving to the USA in 1940, Hitchcock made his mark with his mystery films and suspense thrillers, rightfully earning the title “the master of suspense.”
During the event, scenes from Hitchcock’s films will be screened, followed by a discussion about the director and his work with the audience.
Speakers will include Orestis Andreadakis, Artistic Director of the Thessaloniki International Film Festival, and Giannis Zouboulakis, film critic. The discussion will be moderated by journalist and author Makis Provatas.
