The well-known European film festival returns for its 4th year with a packed two-day program at the Hellenic American Union Theater
The screenings of the European Short Film Festival: Petit Plan Europa focus on highlighting European values such as gender equality, non-discrimination, and environmental awareness. As part of the two-day event at the Hellenic American Union, 19 Greek films will be screened, competing for the Best Greek Film Award, in collaboration with the Greek Film Centre.
This year’s festival jury consists of:
– Chrysoula Korovesis (Animator and Director)
– Aphrodite Bitzouni (Director, Animator)
– Marianna Oikonomou (Director)
At the same time, in collaboration with the Geneva University of Art and Design (Haute école d’art et de design – Genève (HEAD)), a selection of internationally acclaimed student films from recent years will be presented at the Hellenic American Union Theater, along with a special tribute titled “Our Lives,” focusing on stories of first love, life decisions, toxic masculinity, and stigma.
All films are screened with Greek subtitles, while the Greek competition program will also be available with Greek subtitles for the hearing impaired.
