Presentation of NORLA’s program on Norwegian children’s books, rights acquisition, and translation grants.

A small reception will follow at the event venue.

The events of the first day are open to the general public.

10:00–11:30: Workshop: “Redefining the Library: From Transaction to Situation and Relation” with Reinert Mithassel. The Director of Biblio Tøyen will focus on redefining the purpose of libraries in order to discover new and more effective ways to achieve their goals.

12:00–13:30: Workshop: “Libraries and Schools Collaboration: When, Why, How” with Yngvill Sandnes.
Through her workshop, the speaker will provide practical examples and ideas on how libraries can move beyond the confines of their buildings and connect with children in their school environment.
