Leading American scientist Chad Mirkin in Athens for a unique lecture on nanotechnology
Renowned American scientist and nanoscience pioneer from Northwestern University, Dr. Chad Mirkin—one of the world’s most cited chemists and the mind behind groundbreaking innovations that have transformed diagnostics and therapeutics globally—will be addressing the Athenian audience for the very first time. On Thursday, September 4, at 19:00, at the Theater of the Hellenic American Union, his lecture entitled “Foundational Tools, Techniques, and Materials as Outputs of the Modern Age of Nanotechnology” will showcase his laboratory’s discoveries and technologies that harness nanotechnology to revolutionize medicine, energy, the environment, and many other fields.
The event is organized within the framework of the ERA Chairs project “Boost4Bio” of the Biomedical Sciences Research Center “Alexander Fleming,” in collaboration with the Hellenic American Union. Admission is free and the lecture will be delivered in English.
