A celebratory evening dedicated to 80 years of Greek animation
The Hellenic American Union and the Hellenic Animation Association, ASIFA Hellas, present the biggest animation event of the year on Saturday, March 29, 17:30, with the presentation of the annual “STRATOS” (Stratos Stasinos) Animation Awards. This year’s ceremony, hosted by actress Christina Sotiriou, celebrates 80 years of Greek Animation and will feature an expanded range of award categories.
2025 Animation Award Categories:
- Best Animated Film
- Best Student Animated Film
- Best Direction in an Animated Film
- Best Screenplay for an Animated Film
- Best Animated Series (TV Series, Web Series)
- Best Music for an Animated Film
- Best Animated Music Video
- Best Commissioned Animation Film (TVC, Digital Content, etc.)
The films were selected from their participation in Greek animation festivals and through an open call by ASIFA Hellas on social media. ASIFA Hellas members voted for the final five nominees in each category, while a five-member jury from the broader fields of cinema and animation will decide the winning film in each category.
