As Makis Provatas notes in the book’s foreword, the initial conversations “quickly became deep, existential, philosophical, and at times very personal,” leading to the idea of creating a book that would capture the breadth of the topics explored. For his part, Dimitris Karagiannis reflects on the need for a life that is not limited to consumption and superficiality, but instead seeks spirituality and meaning within everyday life.
The publication of the book provides an opportunity for a new discussion around the issues explored in the book, returning to the venue where the original conversations that inspired its creation took place.
