Academic Support Blended Service

The Hellenic American Union Center for Examinations and Certifications offers a blended package of Academic Support Services to Language School Owners at a special cost consisting of the following:

► 2 Mock examinations

► Methodology Workshops for Teachers

2 Mock examinations

The Hellenic American Union Center for Examinations and Certifications offers 2 Mock examinations (all sections/papers) for students preparing for Michigan Language Assessment and Hellenic American University Exams with personalized feedback and performance analysis per participant.

The 1st mock examination is offered as a diagnostic tool and gives the teacher the opportunity to look into the problematic areas of the student’s performance.

The 2nd mock examination serves as a more indicative tool of the student’s performance in the final exam since it’s taken a month before the examination is administered.

Students are advised to participate in the free-of-charge Workshops for Students that the Hellenic American Union Center for Examinations and Certifications offers to prospective candidates (scheduled on set dates at the Hellenic American Union premises or upon request at the Foreign Language School’s premises).

Methodology Workshops for Teachers

The Hellenic American Union Center for Examinations and Certifications offers Methodology Workshops for Language School Owners and language teachers at the premises of the Hellenic American Union and at FL Schools based in Athens at a cost.

These workshops focus on teaching practices which help students better acquire English as a Foreign Language. In this manner, the Hellenic American Union aims to prepare language teachers more effectively for the English-language examinations it administers.

All workshops have been designed to introduce participants to fundamental principles of Teaching English as a Foreign Language. Participants will have the opportunity to plan and teach activities or parts of lessons to their peers using examination materials they will need to adapt.
