Guarantee for retake for Cambridge English March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools test takers
We are pleased to announce that all test takers who register for the March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools will be able to choose between the following examination fees:
- Fees: 178€
- With this option, test takers who do not pass the test and who wish to resit will have to pay examination fees in full for any future B2 First (FCE) for Schools administration.
- Fees: 203€
- With this option, test takers who do not pass the test and who wish to resit the November-December 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools, will be entitled to take the November-December 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools at no additional cost.
The 203€ option is part of the Hellenic American Union’s initiatives to ensure that all March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools test takers are given the opportunity for a second chance in obtaining the B2 First (FCE) for Schools.
The following conditions concern the 203€ option which applies only to March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools test takers:
- Valid only for test takers who register within the March-June 2024 registration period.
- Valid only for test takers who receive a total score below 159 (Cambridge English Scale) and wish to resit the November-December 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools.
- Not valid for test takers who pass the March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools and would like to improve their score in one or more test sections during the November-December 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools.
- Not valid for test takers who register for the March-June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools but do not participate in these examinations.
- Not valid for test takers who register for the May 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools and wish to resit the June 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools. Guarantee for retake is only valid for the November-December 2024 B2 First (FCE) for Schools administration.
- The offer is made out exclusively in the names of test takers who apply for it; it is not transferable to any other test takers, either partly or in full.
We hope that the retake option will help reduce the anxiety and stress some test takers May feel when taking the test and enable them to perform to the best of their abilities.
