Now guarantee for retake for Cambridge English November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) test takers
We are pleased to announce that all test takers who register for the November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) will be able to choose between the following examination fees:
- Fees: 198€
- In this case, test takers who do not pass the test and who wish to resit will have to pay examination fees in full for any future C2 Proficiency (CPE) administration.
- Fees: 238€
- In this case, test takers who do not pass the test and who wish to resit the May 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE), will be entitled to take the May 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE) at no additional cost.
The 238€ option is part of the Hellenic American Union’s initiatives to ensure that all November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) test takers are given the opportunity for a second chance in obtaining the C2 Proficiency (CPE).
The following conditions concern the 238€ option which applies only to November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) test takers:
- Valid only for test takers who register within the November-December 2023 registration period.
- Valid only for test takers who receive total score below 199 (Cambridge English Scale) and wish to resit the May 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE).
- Not valid for test takers who pass the November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) and would like to improve their score in one or more test sections during the May 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE).
- Not valid for test takers who register for the November-December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) but do not participate in all test sections.
- Not valid for test takers who register for the November 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE) and wish to resit the December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE). Guarantee for retake is applicable only for May 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE) administration.
- Valid for test takers who register for the computer-based December 2023 C2 Proficiency (CPE). Please note that if computer-based May or June 2024 C2 Proficiency (CPE) exams do not take place, test takers will be transferred automatically to paper-based May 2024 exams.
- The offer is made exclusively in names of test takers who apply for it; it is not transferable to other test takers, either partly or in full.
We hope that this option will help reduce the anxiety and stress some test takers may feel when taking the test, and enable them to perform to the best of their abilities.
