Kinder Minds (K-Minds) is designed for children aged 4 and 5 and embraces a mixed-age learning approach, where learning within the group develops through collaboration, play, and positive interaction drawing on group dynamics. In a safe and creative environment, children learn not only from their teacher but also from one another, building confidence, empathy, and social skills.
The program is based on experiential learning and includes games, songs, storytelling, creative activities, and themed workshops. It draws on contemporary educational approaches, including Play- & Inquiry-based Learning, elements of the Reggio Emilia approach, the Original Learning Approach, as well as multisensory teaching methods such as TPR and S.P.I.C.E.
The program is ideal for children with a bilingual background (involving English as a language), and/or those who have attended bilingual early childhood program at nursery schools, and/or children who have a caregiver who uses English as a language of communication.
By the end of the Kinder Minds (K-Minds) program, learners will be able to:
- understand and follow simple instructions in English;
- use basic vocabulary and simple language structures related to the themes explored in class;
- communicate and collaborate effectively with their peers;
- express basic needs, ideas, and preferences in English through play and exploration.
