Kostas Tsitsas

Editor In Chief

Kostas Tsitsas embarked on his journalism career at a young age. In 1989, at just 17 years old, he started his journey at the newspaper Epikairotita while pursuing journalism studies at the European Educational Organisation. Following a brief period at the radio station Greece FM 88.3, he worked for several magazines at Lymperis Publications. Initially contributing to the weekly magazine Ego, he later transitioned to men's lifestyle, and joined Status magazine.

In 1996, Tsitsas left the Athens News Agency to become part of the team that revived the then-defunct Greek Playboy under Attika Publications. Eventually, he assumed the role of editor-in-chief. In 2000, he joined the Lambrakis Group as Editorial Director, playing a key role in the relaunch of the weekly magazine Taxydromos in collaboration with the newspaper Ta Nea.

Returning to Attika Publications in 2004, Kostas took charge of the Business Unit overseeing all of the Group's men's special editions. Additionally, he assumed responsibility for consulting Playboy's publications in Romania and Hungary in collaboration with the parent company Playboy Enterprises. Under his leadership, he introduced Prestige, a special annual edition of Playboy magazine. Three years later, as Director and later Publisher of the Greek edition, he pioneered the electronic version of the title until its suspension by Attica Publications in 2014.

Simultaneously, since 2011, Kostas has served as the Editor of both the print and online editions of Esquire, along with overseeing the men's lifestyle portal Askmen.gr. In September 2020, he assumed the role of Editor-in-Chief at Reader.gr.

Kostas Tsitsas is an instructor and key mentor in the Certificate in Digital Marketing of the Hellenic American Union.
