Antonis Volanakis (Athens, 1976) completed his studies and research at Wimbledon College of Art, Saint Martins College of Art, Aalto University, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), and New York University. His practice explores the interplay of human relationships and aesthetics, poetry and politics, and visual and performing arts. In 2006, he founded the collaborative platform “blind date”. He creates installations, performances, exhibitions, and public interventions in collaboration with communities in North America, Greece, and other European countries. Since 2005, he has taught at higher education institutions in Greece, France, and the U.S.; he is currently an Assistant Professor at the Cyprus University of Technology.
Giannis Isidorou (Piraeus, 1969) founded intothepill (2005), one of the first Greek artistic groups focused on video and new media, and, together with visual artist Giannis Grigoriadis, Salon de Vortex (2009), an artistic collaboration producing complex installations. He is co-founder of the online magazine on philosophy, politics, and art www.happyfew.gr and artistic director of the poetry and visual arts magazine FRMK. He has participated in international and Greek experimental film festivals and curated numerous projects combining poetry, performance, and visual arts.
